At The Brag we work hard to deliver a premium selection of online merchandise to merch lovers everywhere. We do not manufacture merchandise or albums, meaning the delivery of pre-orders and the quality of stock is often in the hands of the bands, managers and their suppliers whose merch we sell.
Our system is fully integrated with Australia Post to ensure automated despatch notifications including tracking information (Domestic only) and Proof of Delivery signatures, along with real time shipping calculations based on destination, products purchased and shipping method chosen. We ship to the address placed in checkout - NOT your Paypal address (if Paypal is used).
We offer a range of shipping methods, both Domestic and Internationally - including, $2 Standard (CD's and other small items. Not trackable. Longer shipping times), Standard, Express, International Standard, International Tracking, International Express.
You have the option to purchase shipping insurance at checkout for any domestic parcels. This will help expedite the claim for any items that are "Lost" or "Damaged" in the mail. However, if you do not request insurance we will still provide assistance by lodging claims. This may take up to 6 weeks for an outcome through Australia Post.
Our International shipping is currently not insured and any items that are "Lost" or "Damaged" in the mail are not responsibility of the store (We also do not replace broken CD cases that get cracked in transit, c'mon, it's a CD case!). We only accept Paypal for our international customers, and it is recommended - but not required - to purchase trackable shipping upon checkout.
- DELIVERY TIME
We ship Monday through Friday. Orders must be placed before 10AM AEST to ensure shipping that day. Orders placed after 10AM will fall into the following day's order run. Any orders placed on Weekends or Public Holidays will be sent the next available shipping day. In the event of great demand your order will ship late - we will do everything we can to ship it within a couple of days of your order placement, however certain circumstances may cause greater delays and for that we apologise in advance. Further to that, if your item becomes unavailable although it was available at the time of purchase, you will be notified by our customer service and will help you find a suitable alternative. The below shipping times are advised and not guaranteed.
- International Orders: Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery. As international customs can hold items, your order may take longer than the 2-4 week guideline, in which case it may take 4-8 weeks.
- International Express Orders: Delivery within the week.
- Australian Standard Orders: VIC (1-2 Days), NSW/SA/TAS/ACT (2-3 Days), QLD (4-5 Days), WA/NT (5-9 days)
- Australian Express Orders: Next day after shipping, if located within the express post network. Otherwise allow 2 days. For further information please check; http://auspost.com.au/parcels-mail/delivery-areas.html
- SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping costs are calculated in real time, at the time of checkout. We can not provide you with estimates. Costs are based on product/s purchased, delivery address, and shipping method chosen. Costs are in $AUD. You can use xe.com to approximate the conversion rate to your local currency.
- IMPORT TAXES/DUTY FEES
For orders sent outside of Australia, duty fees and duty costs can be applied by the country of destination. Import duties and taxes are applied by the respective import customs office and are billed to the receiver. These are dependent on the import regulations of the receiver's country. For more information please contact your local customs office. The majority of our orders are not affected by Import Taxes, but we must outline that this can be a possibility.
- PRE ORDERS
We ship pre-orders the week of release, with intention to arrive on release day. International customers - we try to send earlier, however due to the nature of the industry we often do not receive all the appropriate assets until the last minute. When shipping Pre-Orders alongside available items, we ship the entire order along with the Pre-Order item when the Pre-Order is available for shipping. This is due to only one shipping cost being incurred on the order placed. If you would like your available items sooner, it is recommended to place two separate orders with the Pre-Order item in question placed on its own. We cannot break your order apart and ship your item separately once the order is placed.
- VINYL SHIPPING
We ship all vinyl sealed and unopened (where applicable). If you're a true vinyl enthusiast and would prefer the vinyl removed from its sleeve when shipped to avoid seam splits etc, please add this product to your order: Vinyl Desleeving. We can not guarantee the condition of your package upon arrival and do not take responsibility for vinyl damaged in transit. We do however, take care in shipping vinyl and do everything in our power to package it so it arrives to you in one piece in as good condition as possible.
If you have purchased the wrong size/colour/product of an item we are more than happy to return the item for a store credit or refund. All returns must be made within 30 days of the ship date. We do not accept returns/exchanges on sale items, nor any items that have been washed/worn. We cannot exchange or refund tickets.
Please send your returns to the below address in appropriate packaging, similar to what it was sent to you originally in. Please include a copy of the order confirmation/invoice.
